Challenge

Avocet Biosciences is a biotechnology startup at the forefront of harnessing disruptive biotechnology for the greater good. Through their groundbreaking technology, they are redefining the landscape of global health, empowering humanity to thrive in a world where outbreaks are a thing of the past. They commissioned Blue Hat to create a compelling branding that stands out from the competition while reflecting its universal goals.

Intervention

To kick-start, Blue Hat organized a co-creation workshop in which we collaborated closely with the Avocet Bio team to define the brand's purpose, vision, values, tone of voice, personality, and style.

We identified Avocet Bio as embodying the Creator brand archetype, aligning perfectly with their dedication to innovation and the development of revolutionary solutions. Their purpose was clear—to create a positive impact on the world and elevate the quality of life for all. Avocet Bio's core values—innovation, impact, excellence, responsibility, optimism, and passion—became the guiding principles behind their brand.

From the workshop's outcomes, the Blue Hat team crafted a Brand-on-a-page, succinctly summarizing the brand's essence and a compelling Brand Story that effectively introduced Avocet Bio to their target audience. This crucial phase laid the cornerstone for a powerful brand identity that would resonate with Avocet Bio's profound mission.

Results

Inspiration for Avocet Bio's brand identity was drawn from the avocet bird, renowned for its elegance and slender, curved beak that closely resembles scientific instruments like test tubes and pipettes. This symbolism reflects Avocet Bio's commitment to precision, innovation, and unwavering attention to detail. The bird's strong yet graceful stance symbolizes Avocet Bio's resilience in confronting global health challenges head-on.

The Avocet Bio logo, designed by Blue Hat, serves as a visual representation of progress, precision, and hope. It fosters trust and confidence in Avocet Bio's mission to eradicate viral threats and elevate global health standards. The wings in the logo reinforce Avocet Bio's commitment to harnessing disruptive biotechnology for the greater good, propelling humanity toward a healthier future.

Our deliberate design ensures that the Avocet Bio logo is simple, clean, and instantly recognizable. Its versatility enables effective application across various platforms, from digital media to printed materials, without losing impact or clarity.

The vibrant color palette of green and blue evokes growth, trust, and optimism.
