Creative Lead

Requirements

- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in a similar capacity, with a proven track record in branding, design, and team management.

- A comprehensive portfolio showcasing a range of successful branding projects across various industries.

- Experience in leading, mentoring, and inspiring creative teams, fostering an environment of collaboration and innovation.

- Skilled in resolving conflicts and addressing challenges within the team to maintain a positive and productive work environment.

- Excellent project management skills with experience coordinating complex projects and managing multiple priorities.

- Keen attention to detail to ensure all project elements are executed to the highest standard.

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines without compromising quality.

- Exceptional creative vision with a keen eye for design, aesthetics, and detail.

- Strong sense of aesthetics and understanding of visual hierarchy, color theory, typography, and layout.

- Up-to-date with the latest design trends and able to incorporate them into branding projects.

- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite)

- Skills in animation and/or UI/UX design are a plus

- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate creative concepts and solutions effectively.

-  Experience in managing client relationships, understanding their needs, and delivering solutions that exceed expectations.

- Ability to work seamlessly with different departments to ensure a unified brand message.

Responsibilities

Brand Development

- Lead the brainstorming and ideation process to develop unique and compelling brand concepts.

- Oversee the creation and execution of branding materials, ensuring they are consistent with the brand’s voice and identity.

- Ensure all branding efforts align with the client’s strategic goals and vision.

Design

- Participate in the design process, creating and refining branding elements such as logos, typography, color palettes, and other visual assets.

- Develop prototypes and mockups for branding projects, ensuring they effectively communicate the brand’s message and identity.

- Utilize design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) to create high-quality design elements and assets.

- Continuously review and refine design elements to ensure they meet the project’s objectives and standards.

Creative Direction

- Review and critique all creative work to ensure it meets the highest standards of quality and creativity.

- Provide constructive feedback and direction to designers, helping them refine their work and achieve the desired outcome.

- Establish and maintain brand guidelines and standards across all creative outputs.

Quality Control

- Implement a robust review process to ensure all branding materials are error-free and meet the company’s quality standards.

- Give final approval on all creative outputs before they are delivered to clients or published.

- Ensure consistency in quality and style across all branding materials, maintaining a cohesive brand identity.

Team Leadership

- Oversee the day-to-day activities of the branding team, ensuring that each designer is aligned with the project's goals and deadlines.

- Provide guidance and support to designers, fostering their professional growth and development.

- Create an inspiring team environment with open communication, encouraging creativity and innovation.

Project Coordination

- Develop detailed project timelines with the Head of Branding, ensuring all phases of a project are completed on schedule.

- Allocate resources effectively, ensuring the right designers are working on the right projects based on their skills and experience, and make necessary adjustments when needed.

Client Servicing

- Communicate and engage with clients to understand their branding needs, objectives, and challenges.

- Present creative concepts and proposals to clients, articulating the rationale and strategic thinking behind each idea.

- Incorporate client feedback into the final deliverables, ensuring their vision is realized while maintaining creative integrity.

Cross-functional Collaboration

- Integrate branding efforts into broader marketing campaigns to enhance impact and reach.

- Provide support to the digital marketing team when needed.

- Conduct regular workshops to share the latest updates, transfer knowledge, and provide a fresh perspective on elevating brands.

Trends & Technology

- Continuously research and analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments in branding, design, animation, and UI/UX.

- Harness AI-powered design tools, AR/VR applications, and 3D animation software to create immersive and interactive brand experiences.

- Stay up-to-date with advancements in generative AI, machine learning, and other relevant technologies that could impact the design and branding landscape.

- Share insights, best practices, and findings from technology experiments with the team to elevate the overall quality of work and foster a culture of innovation.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies into existing design workflows and processes.
