Graphic Designer

Work hours: 40 hours/week
Reporting to: Head of Digital Marketing / Head of Design
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Graphic Design
- Experience in agency / consultancy environment with multiple projects and clients
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to shift between different industries and design tasks
- Strong manipulation of Typography and understanding of hierarchy of information
- Strong portfolio of high quality and creative design projects
- Great knowledge of Adobe Creative suite (Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Animation skills (Adobe After Effects)
- Great research skills (Primary and Secondary)
- Ability to understand client's needs, take briefs, and manage design projects from A to Z
- Adoption of a human-centered approach to design
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
Responsibilities
- Create visually compelling and impactful designs for a variety of mediums, including but not limited to social media graphics, print collaterals, online advertisements, newsletters, digital and print banners, presentations, packaging, and other design tasks.
- Design graphics for social media platforms, such as photos, infographics, gifs, GIPHY Stickers, visuals, short animations, filters, and stop-motion clips, adhering to the brand strategy and social media guidelines.
- Create engaging social media videos optimized for various platforms.
- Edit and optimize video footage using Adobe.
- Develop brand identities under the supervision of the Head & Team Lead, ensuring consistency and alignment with the brand's values and objectives.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders, including Project Managers, Content Creators, Freelancers, Suppliers, and Clients to gather requirements, brainstorm ideas, and deliver high-quality design solutions that meet project goals and timelines.
- Conduct ideation and brainstorming sessions with the team and clients to generate innovative concepts and designs.
- Conduct primary and secondary research to gather insights, understand target audiences, and make informed design decisions.
- Create moodboards for photography, providing visual direction and inspiration for photoshoots and image selection.
- Manage design projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and delivering high-quality designs that exceed client expectations.
- Demonstrate a foundational understanding of social media content and visual performance by analyzing platform analytics and adjusting design direction accordingly.
- Conduct quality assurance checks, including retouching and preparing files for print, to maintain design integrity and ensure accurate reproduction of designs.
- Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and techniques, and proactively apply this knowledge to enhance the visual appeal and effectiveness of designs.
