Head of Digital marketing

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Digital Marketing to lead our digital marketing efforts and drive the success of our clients' campaigns and businesses. As the Head of Digital Marketing, you will be responsible for managing a team of professionals and ensuring the delivery of high-quality digital marketing strategies and solutions.

Alongside your team of experts, your primary focus will be on meeting clients' KPIs through the development and implementation of effective marketing strategies, while enhancing client satisfaction and fostering a data-driven and results-oriented approach.

Location: Remote

Consultancy Hours: 40 hours/week

Reporting to: Managing Director/Co-founders


Requirements

  • Strong business acumen and a deep understanding of digital advertising and marketing strategies, tools, and platforms

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in digital marketing, design, or communication fields

  • Minimum 2 years of successful leadership experience in digital marketing

  • Expertise in managing large marketing budgets and/or influencer campaigns

  • Exceptional team management skills; inspiring and motivating diverse teams

  • Results-oriented mindset with a strong emphasis on data-driven decision-making

  • Excellent client servicing and business development abilities

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest digital marketing trends, technologies, and best practices

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Arabic (written and spoken)

  • Well-traveled and cultivated, with a strong eye for Design

  • High ethical standards and a strong sense of integrity

Responsibilities

Leadership & Management

  • Provide strategic direction and vision for the Digital Communication unit

  • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, motivating and inspiring team members to achieve their best

  • Actively share knowledge with the team by consistently keeping them updated on the latest industry trends and developments and how to implement them on day-to-day

  • Implement performance management strategies, including setting goals, conducting performance reviews, and providing mentorship and guidance to team members

  • Encourage a numbers-driven mindset (meeting KPIs) and business-oriented thinking within the unit (leveraging marketing to meet Business Goals)

  • Directly oversee projects/tasks when necessary to ensure optimal performance and support specific team members

  • Ensure the team maintains a high level of agility, reliability, and collaboration in executing projects

  • Develop and implement a fool-proof onboarding process for new team members, especially juniors, providing thorough briefings and nurturing their growth

Business Development & Client Servicing

  • Provide excellent client servicing, identify and understand clients' needs in order to deliver tailored solutions

  • Actively participate in business development efforts, including identifying new opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and contributing to the acquisition of new accounts

  • Engage in cross-sells to grow the client’s services monthly retainer with Blue Hat by benefiting from the full range of services we offer even beyond marketing, such as: Branding & Innovation

  • Ensure the team maintains a high level of agility, reliability, and collaboration in executing projects

Performance & Accountability

  • Implement and oversee a quantitative data-driven approach, focusing on generating and analyzing reports to measure the performance of accounts and team members

  • Create and maintain a dashboard for the Digital Communication team to provide a macro view of project progress and outcomes

  • Implement and update standard operating procedures (SOPs), processes, templates, and checklists to streamline operations and improve efficiency within the team

  • Ensure accountability and reliability in team performance and project deliverables, setting clear expectations and monitoring progress

  • Display deep knowledge and expertise in marketing tactics, including SEO, SEM, influencer management, and ecommerce management, to drive effective digital marketing strategies and campaigns

  • Demonstrate resourcefulness in leveraging both internal talent and external resources to meet client's KPIs, such as increasing followers, driving growth, improving positioning and awareness, and generating leads and sales

  • Oversee the development and execution of marketing and creative campaigns, online and offline, to engage target audiences and achieve desired outcomes for client’s businesses

Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement

  • Apply rigorous quality assurance measures periodically to all accounts and tasks to ensure high-quality deliverables

  • Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in social media and the digital marketing industry, fostering a culture of continuous learning within the team

Team Strategy & Growth

  • Master a business perspective and understanding of the different industries we service in terms of challenges, business goals, customer needs, and the ecosystem of the business

  • Drive the team towards being more scientific, data-driven, and numbers-oriented

  • Identify and harness trends to enhance accounts management, propose updated scopes of work, and deliver new initiatives that add value to Blue Hat and its clients

  • Explore and adopt new research techniques, technologies, and features to improve services and stay ahead of the trends

  • Establish yourself as an industry expert, actively participating in events, writing articles, and building a strong professional network
