Blue Hat Hosts Two Masterclasses at Web Summit 2021
Blue Hat concluded this year’s partnership with the Web Summit in Lisbon, Portugal by hosting two (full house!) masterclasses at one of the biggest tech conferences in Europe. We had the opportunity to share our methodologies, experiences and expertise in the field with a diverse group of like-minded professionals. Amongst the networking, knowledge-sharing and quality time with the team, we have wrapped up yet another milestone in our journey.
The turn out was impressive, as more than 700 attendees expressed an interest to join the sessions.
Masterclass #1:
We can be Heroes: Designing Impactful Brand Experiences
The first masterclass was titled, “We can be Heroes: Designing Impactful Brand Experiences” and it was hosted by Judy Maamari, Blue Hat’s Co-Founder and Innovation Director, and Elif Taş, Design & Innovation Strategist at Blue Hat.
With the notion of designing an impactful experience for your customer-facing businesses, Judy tackled the importance of adopting a user-centric approach to solve the most pressing problems a business could face. She highlighted that once a business understands the power of their brand touchpoints, they will be able to harness them properly to create impactful brand experiences that aim to empower the users / customers in their journey.
This masterclass also unpacked the direct impact that a unique brand experience could have on a business, such as enhancing your brand equity, increasing your profit, staying relevant to customers, achieving market leadership, and ultimately: Leaving a Mark on the World. She finished off by a quote for businesses that reads as follows: “You start to move differently, once you understand your power.”
In the same masterclass, Elif explained how to achieve an impactful experience by addressing your brand’s touchpoints in an engaging manner for customers. She delved into case studies from Blue Hat’ portfolio, elaborating on how Brand activations can add moments of delight to customers without losing the brand essence. Here, she reiterated the importance of a brand to continuously work on elements of mystery and intimacy to forge lasting memories with their target audience.
She also emphasized on the importance of translating brand values into meaningful touchpoints and building a brand with purpose in order to fit the changing needs of customers and to ensure a long lasting impact.
Masterclass #2:
Beyond tech: How to Win the Innovation Race?
The second masterclass we have conducted was titled, “Beyond Tech: How to Win the Innovation Race?” hosted by Sami Hmaidan, Blue Hat’s Co-Founder and Managing Director, and Lin Tayara, Innovation Strategist at Blue Hat.
Given that we were presenting at a conference which was revolving around technology, we tackled the idea of innovation beyond tech. The masterclass provided businesses another lens to view innovation by focusing on the ins-and-outs of their organization and business. Sami talked about how innovation can be achieved by stating that: “Radical innovations must balance between Desirability, Feasibility and Viability.”
Lin went on to explain the ways to mix and match between different types of innovation to drive value for your customers. She used the analogy of a stage to describe the different levels in which innovation can take place; behind the scenes, referring to your business’ configuration and offerings, and on stage, referring to the customer-facing interactions.
