South Summit 2023: Blue Hat Unlocks the Importance of Sustainability to Create Meaningful Brands

The annual gathering took place this year in Madrid from the 7th to the 9th of June. With a theme focusing on a green future “Today 2030” aimed to push the boundaries of what’s possible in a rapidly changing world.

 
 

Blue Hat’s Co-Founders Judy Maamari & Sami Hmaidan were also invited as guest speakers to this year’s event. The Bootcamp was held at the Catalyst stage on June 7, titled “Sustainability as Strategy: Building Meaningful Brands for the Future”.

 
 

Drawn from their experience, Sami & Judy explored the power of sustainability as a strategic tool and its very important role in building meaningful brands. They underscored the crucial role of sustainability in building a brand that resonates with consumers and contributes to a better future while gaining a competitive edge in the market. One of the main highlights of their speech was that sustainability is no longer just a buzzword but a fundamental aspect that shapes consumer preferences and influences purchasing decisions.

 
 

The talk consisted of many valuable insights, and frameworks, along with some international case studies and ideas on how to leverage sustainability to create a meaningful business and a memorable brand. The Bootcamp ended up with an interactive quiz which made it possible for the audience to assess where their company’s branding & sustainability efforts fall.

 
 

We aimed for this Bootcamp to serve as a powerful inspiration to help business owners shape a more sustainable future.
