Bringing The Taste of Greece to Saudi Arabia Through Digital Communication
Challenge
In 1966, Halepi opened in London, and 56 years of unforgettable flavors and amazing stories later, it arrived in Riyadh where you taste the soul of Greece on a platter.
This new Saudi brand of the London-based restaurant has been an international destination for foodies and celebrities. With that esteemed legacy to live up to, they commissioned Blue Hat to develop and implement a digital communication toolkit to adhere to the brand identity and the interior which was inspired by ancient Greek history and art & architecture.
Intervention
Our team of designers established an online presence that is light and engaging to align with the brand appeal and the personality of the owner. Halepi was designed with an open kitchen concept in a prime location to become an ideal place for a group of friends to meet and immerse themselves in a Greek indulging food experience. We wanted to manifest that in the different photography, the graphics, and the style of the social media grid.
Results
To properly translate the brand essence on it's digital platforms, we incorporated Greek elements such as columns, floral patterns, greek terminologies as well as locally influenced music. This allowed the brand authenticity to show remarkably and become evident in its digital presence.
