Dough Bar set out to become the first edible cookie dough bar in Saudi Arabia, carving a niche in the F&B market. The challenge was to create a playful yet modern brand identity that evoked childhood nostalgia while appealing to young adults seeking trendy and Instagram-worthy experiences. The concept needed to deliver not just indulgence but also a sense of magic and joy in every detail, from branding to packaging.

Blue Hat developed a dynamic and whimsical identity for Dough Bar, ensuring it delivered on its promise of delight and nostalgia:
Brand Story: Positioned Dough Bar as a provider of happiness, transporting customers back to their childhood with every bite. The concept encapsulates the magic of sneaking raw cookie dough and cake batter, evoking memories of mom’s kitchen.
Visual Identity:
Theme: Unlock Your Inner Child—a playful landscape of childhood illustrations, from balloons to candy-inspired motifs, combined with bright, whimsical colors that evoke imagination.
Typography: Bold, modern fonts with playful edges were paired with illustrated toppings and treats to balance nostalgia with a trendy vibe.
Imagery: Design elements featured nostalgic childhood symbols like toys, candies, and balloons, connecting deeply with customers on an emotional level.
Brand Deliverables Delivered a comprehensive branding suite, including staff uniforms, store signage, packaging, menus, and napkins, creating a cohesive and memorable in-store experience.
Purpose Beyond the Product: Integrated Dough Bar’s social mission of supporting children with special needs through fundraising, donations, and awareness campaigns, adding depth to the brand’s playful persona. Hence, with inclusivity in mind, the typeface chosen included bold, modern, and slightly dispersed to support children with special needs, such as dyslexia, ensuring the brand feels welcoming to everyone.
